To the loved ones of Travis Miller.

I am so very sorry that you lost your son, husband, and friend. Travis was a very likable and nice person. I feel your loss so greatly, because I lost a son of my own. It is with you forever, but the hurt does lessen over time. I am so glad you had Travis for 31 years. I know we always want more time, but if it is not to be, I know you will cherish the time you had with Travis. I admire those of you who risk your lives for your fellow man. Thank you so much, Travis.

As Travis is laid to rest today all the Waterloo-Grant Township have recieved an guardian angel from above. Travis is not going to be visually seen by your side, but Travis's spirit will be by your side whenever you take that fire call. Don't look at it as a fallen brother....look at it as each and every one of you have that guardian angel all decked out in his bunker gear with his halo on still right by your side!! RIP Travis. Thank You for the decication to the community!!!

Words alone cannot express the pain and the loss we feel for you Travis. I know you were a good man and firefighter. Terrie and I were both in shock when we heard this tragic news. Amy and Gerald, we are thinking about you and praying for you. Travis, brother, go rest high on that mountain, your work on earth is done. Rest assured that the emergency responder brotherhood in Dekalb County will take it from here. God bless you!

What can I say that hasn't already been said. This young man answers the call. A call that he answered for over five years...proof that he cares for others and put the need of others ahead of his own. What a tragedy to loose such a hero after doing one of the things he must have loved doing. God bless him and his family. May God touch Amy in a loving caring way and allow the family understanding that only God can. God bless Travis, his family and the men and women that served with him. God Bless.

Some people come into our lives and they go, some come in, touch our hearts and we are changed forever.

Rest in peace Travis.

I ask that God hold your family in the palm of His hands.
