EMT Gundle was killed in a single vehicle accident while responding to a emergency call for service.

The accident occured at approximately 3:00 p.m. along State Road 160 near Monk Road, about two miles east of Henryville.

EMT Gundle was a passenger in the ambulance when the vehicle left the road and struck a tree head-on. Inclement weather and poor road conditions were believed to be a contributing factor in the accident.
