Incident

Officer Denzinger and Officer Joel White were dispatched to a report of a dispute between a woman and her 15 year-old son.

As officers were talking to the mother and the boy's aunt, he started shooting at them from an upstairs window with an M-1 rifle. Officer Denzinger pushed the two women to safety as he went down from a gunshot to the back.

Officer White was also critically injured from gunshot wounds.

The call was dispatched at 6:17pm. At 6:28pm, Officer White radioed: "Officers down."
