Firefighter Jameson was among multiple firefighters who responded to a reported structure fire. Upon arrival, he complained of shortness of breath and remained in the apparatus while other firefighters investigated. The fire turned out to be a controlled-burn in the resident's yard.
When other crew members returned to the apparatus, they found Firefighter Jameson to be unresponsive. Treatment was initiated and he was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead from an apparent heart attack.
