Along with other first responders, Constable House made an emergency response to a residence regarding a report of an unconscious person. The individual was found to be deceased.
After clearing the call, Constable House returned home. A few hours later, he was found deceased from an apparent heart attack.
Constable House also served as Fire Chief of the Monterey Volunteer Fire Department.
