Chris, I want to thank you for being so good to my daughter and my grandchildren. I am honored that you thought enough of me to call me "mom". I will truly miss your jokes, laughterand wonderful sense of humor. There will never be another "Big Daddy". Love you, mom #2. Gail
What can I say, I've known Shrek for many years. I remember when he received his nickname of Shrek and how it upset him at first. I told him that with the crew here at Laurel Co. EMS, if Wil Bishop liked you enought to nickname you, then you were liked. He thought about it for a minute and then he was happy. Shrek was one of a kind with a heart that was bigger than life. He loved his job and his co-workers were always in his thoughts as he exhibited in his calls to our friend Wendi, checking on her after she got hurt in the line of duty. I had the priviledge of working with Shrek as his supervisor, partner and as his paramedic preceptor. He was a pleaseure to have around and was a very dedicated employee, student and friend. I will miss his smie and his heart and as Wendi said, I would love to hear that laugh just one more time. Shrek, Wendi and I love you brother we will miss you. Our thoughts and prayers will be with youand Ginny and the girls. Rest in Peace my friend.

Words are not enough for this man with the big smile and joyous laughter.Aways a warm heart and a good joke or two would send even the mosttroubled soul away with a good laugh .
